The fastest path from "no account" to "my AI assistant just cited a paper for me."

1. Create your account

Go to luneresearch.com/signup and sign up with email or Google. If you choose email, click the confirmation link we send you, then come back.

You're now on the Free plan with 10 requests per day. No card needed, nothing to expire.

2. Pick how you'll connect Lune

The dashboard's Install page walks you through this with one-click buttons. Choose the AI app you already use:

  • Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, OpenCode, Antigravity (local agents). We give you a one-line MCP install command, you paste, done. The optional Lune CLI can configure supported clients with lune install.
  • ChatGPT and Claude. Open Lune's plugin or connector listing from the Install page, add it, and sign in. Nothing to copy.
  • Perplexity, Manus (web AI apps). Add Lune as a custom connector through the app's settings; copy-paste the URL we provide.

Every supported path installs Lune inside an AI app. Do not call the underlying REST API directly.

Each path is a few clicks; the dashboard's Install page has illustrated recipes for every supported app.

3. Try a question

Open a chat in your AI app and ask something only a research assistant could answer well. For example:

Find recent papers about cache-timing attacks on AES; cite the top three with links.

Behind the scenes, the agent searches Lune for relevant papers and brings their abstracts, metadata, and links into the answer. It can inspect full text when available. That tool call counts as one "request" against your daily allowance.
