Welcome to Lune
Lune is a research companion for your AI app. Hook it up once and your assistant can search top-tier papers, follow citation trails, watch conferences for new work, and pull from a small library of research best-practices — all from inside the chat you already use.
Three ways to use Lune
- Inside your AI app. Connect Lune as a tool to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Gemini, Perplexity, Manus, Hermes, and other AI apps that support custom connectors. Once connected, your assistant simply has new research abilities; no extra UI to learn.
- From the command line. Install our small Lune app and run quick searches, manage subscriptions, and check your account from a terminal.
- From the web dashboard. Sign in at luneresearch.com to manage your team, plan, credits, conference subscriptions, and API keys.
Where to go next
- Set up in five minutes — a ground-up walkthrough from signing up to your first paper search.
- Connect Lune to your AI app — pick the app you use and follow the matching recipe.
- Plans, requests & credits — what counts as a request, how the daily allowance works, when credits kick in.
A note on language
We try to keep the docs jargon-light. When we say "request" we mean one question your AI assistant asks Lune; "credits" are little top-ups for days your daily allowance runs out; "API keys" are the secret tokens that let your AI app talk to your Lune account. That's about as deep as it gets.
