Plans, requests & credits

What's a request?

A request is one question your AI assistant asks Lune. It might be a paper search, a citation lookup, a conference digest, or a research guidance query: Lune treats them all the same. We don't charge per result; pulling 200 papers from a conference is one request.

Account, billing, and team-management actions (signing in, listing your API keys, switching teams, browsing your invoices) are always free and never count against your allowance.

Plans

PlanPriceDaily allowanceOnce you hit the limit
Free$010 / dayPaused until midnight UTC.
Pro$4.99 / month300 / daySwitches to credits, then pauses.
Max$9.99 / month600 / daySwitches to credits, then pauses.

The daily allowance resets at midnight UTC for everyone. A short burst-rate guard (about 30 requests per second per team) protects against runaway scripts; if you trip it, just wait a few seconds and retry.

Credits

Credits are top-ups for days when 300 or 600 requests aren't quite enough. $0.99 buys 300 credits. Once your daily allowance is used up, every request consumes one credit; when credits run out, requests pause until the next reset.

A few things to know:

Tier changes

The dashboard's Billing page handles every plan change.

Every transition is reversible from the same page; nothing's locked behind a contact form.

Daily-only model

There's no monthly metered quota and no "overage charges" surprise. You get the same allowance every day, you can top up when you need, and you always know exactly where you stand on the billing page.
