Lune vs STEMverse

STEMverse packages research into ten specialized agents, from literature review to statistics to manuscript drafting, paid for with credits. Lune does not ship agents. It ships the tools an agent needs and lets you bring your own.

Start with the one you should not buy from us

If the first list is you, take STEMverse.

Choose STEMverse if

  • You want ready-made agents for stats and manuscript work, not just literature.
  • Trying a few free agents before paying suits how you evaluate tools.
  • You would rather not assemble a workflow yourself.

Choose Lune if

  • You already trust one agent and want it better armed.
  • You need the quote behind a claim, with its location.
  • You want to know which venues are indexed before you depend on it.

Where the difference comes from

Ten agents, or ten tools

STEMverse covers more of the workflow than Lune does. Statistical analysis and manuscript drafting are real jobs, and Lune does neither.

The bet underneath is different. A suite of agents assumes the vendor's agents are the ones you will use. Lune assumes the agent you already picked will keep getting better faster than any vendor can rebuild it, so the useful thing to sell is what that agent lacks: evidence it cannot make up.

Say what you index

STEMverse does not publish which databases its literature agent searches. That matters more for a research tool than for most software, because the value of the output is capped by the quality of what went in.

Lune publishes its venue list and the papers under each. It is a shorter list than most of this category can claim, which is exactly why it is on a public page.
