Abstract

Lagrangian (TetSphere Splatting) Eulerian Ground Truth Reconstructed Shape Input Image Reconstructed Shape "A bear dressed in medieval armor" "A recliner chair" (a) (b) (c) (d) Figure 1: (a) Eulerian vs. Lagrangian geometry representations: Compared to Eulerian methods that rely on a fixed grid, TetSphere splatting, a Lagrangian method, uses a set of volumetric tetrahedral spheres that deform to represent the geometry. TetSphere splatting supports applications such as reconstruction, image-to-3D, and text-to-3D generation (b-d).
